A speed bump is an artificial elevation that is installed on the carriageway of a highway, designed to calm traffic. Basically, artificial road roughness is used for installation on road sections, near pedestrian crossings in residential areas near schools and preschool institutions. They are also installed at traffic police posts to increase the ability to control vehicles and limit the speed limit.
